3-on-3 Ball Hockey and a 5 on 5 Youth Ball Hockey Tournament
* A weekend of 3-on-3 Ball Hockey for most ages as well as a 14-17yr old 5 on 5 Tournament with Proceeds going to the Manitoba Ball Hockey Association in there quest to hoist Gold at the 2009 Canadian Ball Hockey Championships.
The Manitoba Ball Hockey Association, along with Fountain Tire Stores of Winnipeg are teaming up to host the Ray Frost 3-on-3 Ball Hockey Tournament.
3-on-3 Tournament Details:
- ONLY 24 Team Spots available for 3-on-3 half rink play;
- Maximum 6 players and a goalie per Team;
- Cost per Team - $ 150.00 (includes Tourney T-Shirt);
- Guarantee of 3 Games.
- Four Divisions:
- Mens
- Womens
- Co-Ed
- Youth (age 10 to 13 yrs) and ( age 14 to 17 yrs)
- Helmets with face protection and Gloves required for Youth Division
5-on-5 Full Rink Tournament Details:
- ONLY 8 Team Spots available for 5-on-5 Youth full rink play;
- Maximum 15 players per Team;
- Cost per Team - $ 300.00 (includes Tourney T-Shirt);
- Two Divisions:
- 14 & 15 year olds
- 16 & 17 year olds
- Helmets and Gloves required for Youth Division
- Shoot-out Competition Winner receives prizes from Fountain Tire.

Who is Ray Frost?
Born in Winnipeg, Ray had a 40 year career in hockey as a coach and manager in minor and junior hockey in Winnipeg. He managed the Manitoba Junior Hockey Leage Winnipeg Rangers for eleven seasons. The Rangers won the MJHL championship three times and were Western Canada Finalists. The NHL expanded from 6 teams to 12 teams in 1967 and Ray was asked to join the Philadelphia Flyers as Western Scout. He travelled Western Canada and the Northern United States scouting teams and individual players. The Philadelphia Flyers were Stanley Cup winners in l974 and l975. Ray is proud to wear his Stanley Cup Ring which was presented to him by the Flyers. Ray scouted and was responsible for drafting a couple of Manitoba players, Bob Clarke and Jimmy Johnson.Ray was involved with the Philadelphia Flyers from l967 to l977, and then
continued his involvement with hockey by coaching his sons hockey teams at the Winakwa Community Club. He now enjoys watching his grand sons play hockey.
